About Us
Sibium Mining Limited (SML) is a registered rural community based landowner Company that represents the interest of the three (3) major clans (Yarafa, Yauba, Domea) and their several sub clans that are traditional land & resource owners of the Sibium Mountains and all land resources within their clan land bounderies in Portion 23C, Upper Musa Peoject in the Safia Local Level Government (LLG) area in Ijivitari District of Oro Procine.
The landowners or clans members have agreed to set aside various suitable areas of their land to engage in small sclae alluvial mining activites to earn some income from their mineral resources respectively.
SML is currently in the process of setting up an office in Port Moresby where all the business activites will be coordinated from.

Sibium Mines Ltd.
Government representatives of the Oro Provincial Government and various departments such as Oro Provincial Administration, Lands & Physical Planning, Forestry, Environment & Conservation, Mining & Petroleum and other Government Departments and Agencies that represent the Government.
In this case the Investors are also referred to as Developer's whose main purpose is to operate within the areas specified in the land Sub-Lease Agreement for the purpose of doing business activities.

The primary objective of the company is to ensure all clan members derive maximum benefits from the use of their land where developments (alluvial mining) are allowed to take place.
